Face Masks Donation to Burns Centre
Pak Suzuki donated 150,000 face masks to the Burns Centre on October 26, 2023.
The Burns Centre, established in collaboration with the Government of Sindh in 2004, is a vital 66-bed charitable hospital specializing in the treatment of burn patients. The facility boasts state-of-the-art ICUs and other amenities, along with a team of qualified doctors and para-medical staff. Importantly, the centre offers free medical treatment to underprivileged and needy burn patients from all over Pakistan.
Since its inception, the Burns Centre has achieved remarkable milestones, having performed more than 34,000 surgeries and attended to over 148,000 outpatient visits, till date. These statistics underscore the significant impact the centre has had on the lives of countless individuals in need.
Mr. M. Irfan Tariq-Head of Corporate Planning, during a formal ceremony, handed over the face masks to Mr. Azmat Ataka-Advisor Resource Development at Burns Centre. These face masks are a valuable resource for the hospital, providing protection for doctors, staff, and patients as required. The Burns Centre management has expressed its gratitude to Pak Suzuki for its ongoing support in enhancing healthcare facilities for the community.
